Our Day at the Grand Canyon!

Today was awesome! We slept in til 9:00am and then had a great buffet breakfast. Then we got onto a bus and they took us to a private airport where we got onto a 2.3 million dollar helicopter and flew to the Grand Canyon in AZ. It was absolutely incredible. Thankfully we took dramamine before the flight so we wouldn't get sick. Love you so much boys and we will see you the day after tomorrow!!!!!!!

Viva Las Vegas!

Well, we are here and it is beatuiful. The Bellagio is definitely incredible. We saw the Cirque de Soleile "O" show last night and it was breath-taking! Tonight we will have our Gala Dinner which we get all dressed up for! Unfortunately, Kristin and I forgot to bring the pearls that I bought her in India last month! BUMMER! Oh well. Tomorrow we go for a helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon. We are really looking forward to that but I think that Kris is a little nervous.
Believe it or not, we just got back from the gym and both had good workouts. I am humngry enough to eat a whole buffet. (self control don't fail me now!)

Feeling Better

Well, I am finally feeling better. I made it all day yesterday without ibuprofin, and my throat is only a little sore today. Praise Jesus!! :) Please keep praying for Chris, Jaden, and Ethan as they are a little sick. Also, pray for Laura who will watch the boys while we are gone. We come back Thursday and she leaves Friday for 2 1/2 weeks in Europe- she has to be healthy!!! Thanks!

We live in a GIANT PETRI DISH!!

Now I (Chris) have this dreadful bug! My wife has such a sharing heart. Hopefully it will be short lived! We have a fun trip away next week and it would be a bummer to be sick for it! Anyway, please pray for us all as we have been sick now for going on two weeks straight! Thanks!

When will I figure this out??

Lately I feel like I spend most of my time catching up on all the normal life stuff... you know, stuff that should really have found its way into my life routine by now. Like laundry, for example. Or keeping up on Quicken. Or cooking dinner. Or.... the list goes on. I don't supose it helps that I'll be going on my tenth day of sore throat tomorrow. I am on an antibiotic, but it doesn't seem to be helping, so it's off to Dr. Cranor on Thursday. On a positive note, Chris and I are going to Las Vegas for 4 nights on Sunday. It is a work thing (a.k.a. free vacation). We're pumped. Well, off to bed. (by the way, I know eventually I'll get all my duties straightened out- either that or I'll realize everyone else is in the same boat as me and it's really ok :) )
