Starting to put in cabinets...

And new paint! Yahoo!!! (Jaden likes it!)

While we were away...

While we were away, our kitchen was being torn to bits! The beginning of the remodle... This is what we came home to. Lots of excitement for the boys and a "new way of living" for about 5 more weeks!

Christmas 2006 at the Cabin

We had a ROCKIN' time at the cabin this year! What a blessing to have 10 nights away.. a few alone, but most with family and friends. Chris and I drove up Christmas Eve without the kids to get a lay of the land... we had a LOT of snow. We drove up the plowed (thankfully!) dirt rode to our cabin to find the entry gate almost covered by snow. So, we put on the snowshoes, blazed a trail through the woods to the cabin and 11 toboggan loads later Chris left me to go back and get Claudia and the boys. It was really and adventure!

Fun in the Snow

We had so much fun in the snow.... even
Grandpa Roy joined the boys in jumping
off the deck! All the fun made it worth
having to hire a huge bulldozer to come
plow us out!!!

The Incredilbe Snow Fort!!

Ryan spent hours outside building an incredible snow fort!
It was like an igloo with two rooms, a front "entryway" and
2 passages. It was so incredible.... we'll be sad when it melts-
in 2010!!! :)

I am so glad our boys love each other! It makes family holidays
that much better! Above, Nathan show off his new super-cool
cape and crown that he got... they are reversible!

Snuggling two of my cuties... you
can see the snow piled on the deck!

What a delicious saw! And who would have known-
it tastes even better with no clothes on!

Grandma Claudia and Jaden getting
in some snuggle time while Chris played
guitar and we sang.

The Puzzle Masters doing "the
most horrible puzzle- ever!" (it
was very mono-chromatic)

The Lovebirds....
Hey brothers.... whatcha eatin'?

The snow was so deep that we were able to build up a run that started up on the deck, down through the trees (yikes!) and down to the driveway! YAHOOOOO!
