Hunting and Fishing in Saskatchewan, Canada!!!

What an amazing experience! I left with a good friend last Saturday and we flew to Great Falls, MT. Then jumped in a Ford Expedition with three other guys (4 total) and drove 7 hours to Saskatoon. Then got up early and drove another 12.5 hours to pretty much the border of the Northwest Territory! 5.5 hours on a dirt road! Talk about a sore butt. Anyway, the days were filled with lots of fishing and the afternoons and evenings were filled with hunting for bears. This area, which the outfitter has the sole rights to hunt is said to have over 35,000 black bears. It was a great week! Food was good, fishing and huting were even better! I will try to post the fishing pics next week but here are some hunting pics!

Hey Chris!

Wow, is that your bear? With a bow? Holy biscuits - you're a man's man :)

Tell us a bit more about the hunt!

So if you're keeping score at home, I believe it's now Chris 1, Black Bears 0.
